The Bengals released fullback Chris Edmonds, the preseason starter, from the 53-man roster. They also let go of former UC star Ray Jackson from the practice squad.

The Bengals signed former Washington Redskin tailback Kenny Watson to a two-year contract to take Edmonds' spot on the roster. Watson is a second-year pro from Penn State who rushed for 534 yards and one touchdown last season, when Bengals coach Marvin Lewis was the Redskins defensive coordinator....

Hmmm. Jackson was a final cut and then went on the p-squad. He had a good preseason. That leaves them with rookie Jeremi Johnson at FB. He was , a 4th rounder, I think.

Perhaps Dillion's injury may be a bit more severe that reported. Just a guess with no foundation. That leaves 'em with 1 FB and 3 TB's....and the Bills with 1 FB and 3 RB's depending on Henry's return.
