Tonight the Sabres meet the Blackhawks, last time these 2 teams met, Chicago pulled one over on Buffalo by making the game 5-4 with just 14.9 seconds left in the 3rd. Tonight may be the night for revenge.

I've got to agree. He's bigger than ever, he learned how to punch from a boxer over the summer, and he has confidence. You can't beat a 6'4" or 6'5", 247 pound monster that knows how to throw the fists and has won about seven fights in a row (the Perrot fights are sketchy though).

Still, Peters is doing what he's supposed to. I bet he will fight Brashear first game, too (regular season). He has about a week before Boulton returns after that, and he's going to have to prove that Boulton doesn't deserve a spot in the lineup when he's healthy.

this is very off topic but i found this and it's hilarious, I like to use Montreal or Colorado since I hate those teams so here it is...

Two men, both Montreal Canadiens fans died and were sent down to hell. When they arrived there, the Devil decided to see how they were suffering in hell and found them both having a barbecue and enjoying themselves greatly.

I stuck by his side up until this offseason. Then I decided to throw my hands up in the air. He doesn't have the heart or the desire to be a good player, even if he has the tools.

He's more like Alexander Daigle than Todd Bertuzzi when it comes to development.

Both guys had talent. One took a few years to mature. The other didn't.

Connolly's a lot more like the last one.

I'm not sure if there is a Chicago station. The WNSA Internet feed has been terrible lately. Luckily, I still pick up the radio signla out this way.

He will walk from most of these charges because he's a famous hockey player. That's the sad state of criminal justice in this country. He doesn't deserve 15 years in prison, but he should get more than a slap on the wrist or a fine he can easily pay.

I think missing this season would be good for him.

We do this game for all the Bills games....very popular.

We get squat in the preseason. But yes, had it been a regular season game, we would have received a point.

Anyway, I learned a couple things tonight...

Peters is a monster, but he also plays with discipline. He knew Buffalo needed the score in the third and he drew VandenBussche into a penalty.

Begin is going to be a great addition to this team.
