I can't wait to hear what Regier has to say at 5:05 on Howard Simon today. Howard was angry that they let Begin slide, and I can't help but agree. I really liked Steve Begin.

There wasn't much out there. We really had some of the better players on the wire.

I wish Philadelphia would have exposed Todd Fedoruk. I thought he would have been a perfect energy guy.

Why the hell didnt the Sabres take Chris Therien when they lost Bouchard?!?! Begin was someone the Bills needed. I do agree.

Umm, the Bill's needed Begin? What, was he going to play cornerback?

I think you got your teams mixed up.

As for Therien, what's the point? Bouchard was destined for the AHL. Why pay Therien an NHL salary to play in the AHL when you can just sign some AHL guys?

Our D depth is superb this year.

I'm more worried about Begin's grit leaving (since he'd been in the NHL) than Bouchard.

I seem like the echo of Rhett, but I totally agree. I'm not worried in the least about Bouchard. It's Begin I wanted to see roaming the ice on our 4th line. I still cannot fathom why we didn't leave Timmy boy unprotected.
