All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Time for Uncle Don to chime in his 2 cents on the Ultimatesabres.com auto draft that took place this weekend. We will see who's a bunch of hockey experts and who gors tot he games just to fondle Sabretooth.
I will need to see how I do in the waiver wire to really evaluate my team I got some players that I didn't think I had ranked that high such as Brashear and Domi....lol:)!
With the top pick in the draft, The Fat Pansies took the top rated player, Markus Naslund.
What a waste of the top spot. After Naslund, Brett Hull was the second choice- would have been much better off ranking his team witha goalie higher. Fernandez and Tugnut are OK, but will struggle to get into 40% of their games.
Jackman Barrett provides the Fat Pansies with some sorely needed PIM's from the blue line. This team will also be strong in the +/-
Doug Weight and Kovalev Provide some scoring punch behind Naslund. Might need to trade for a starter or hope Fernandez emerges
Very strong Goaltending between the pipes - with the top rated Goaltender in Brodeur and workhorse Nick Khabibulin. Depending on the disposition of Miller or a trade, Noronen makes for a solid #3.
Outsid eof Jeremy Roenick, a vanilla offense. No marquee scoring, although St Louis had a bust out season last year. No major PIM's on the linup either, but not a team of wuss bunnies.
Might want to consider trading one of the stud Goalies for a bonafied scorer.
Lordofgun did very well drafting #3 with his heterosexually comfortable hockey team.
2 Goaltenders who will get 75% of the action for their team, Ollie Kolzig and Roman Turek. ANdrew Roycroft? Better off with Laura Croft for a 3rd stringer- although Boston backup Steve Shields was just dealt to Florida. But this means what, another 10 starts?
Great Balamce - Bertuzzi will light the lamp and Brad Richards is an assist machine. Bertuzzi and Mellanby will also make hamburger of any purse weilding teams that get in their way- splitting a combined 320 Minutes in penalties.
This team has some interesting decisions coming up- especially in goal. Curtis Joseph was not claimed and will be sitting the pine waiting to be traded. Dwayne Roloson is a solid goaltender, but shares time with Fernandez in Minne-ha-ha. Fichaude will be riding a bus most of the season- what a bust he turned out to be.
Federov will be another unknown, in his first season outside of Detroit, signing with the Ducks. This team might lack scoring depth, but is heavy on assists- with Darcy Tucker and Team Mate Wade Belak not afraid to drop the gloves.
Allison, Samsinov, Straka, Afinegenov, and Chris Pronger would have made this team a champion 2 years ago, but organ donors last season. If this crew could return to form, they could be very dangerous.
In the pipes, the DDogs are very strong, with Hedberg, Turco, and Aebischer- who will benefit from the retirement of Patrick Roy and a western conference all star team in front of him.
Hedberg and one of the studs might become trade bait if injuries take over this lineup again.
Sporks came up as mis-matched as the utensil itself. Kevin Weeks is a strong goaltender, but he nmight want to consider picking up Irbe as a backup- insuring 3 starts.
Milan Hedjuk leads this team with 50 goals- but it's pretty weak after that- plus- Hedjuk will probably see diminished goals due to all the imported firepower on the Avs.
Hatcher will have a good season in Detroit. This is a very strong +/- team
If Martin Gaborik comes back soon, this team could be deadly.
Yashin, Gaborik and Hossa make for a good scoring punch This team is a bit weak in +/- and in PIM's, but have some solid goalies Potvin will get a ton of starts in Boston as their only legit goaltender, and Nabokov could excell in San Jose. Bob Boughner adds some grit in the PIM department, getting 126 despite missing time due to injury last year.
The Kaji...Kag.... these ninja turtles have a very interesting assebly of big name talemnt- Modano, Mogilny, Lindros, Hrdina all should put the puck in the net.... but oddly only Mogilny broke the 30 goal barrier.
This team has a decent Blue line amd a very nice +/- rating. Lindros, McKenna and Andropov add some tough PIMs to the mix as well.
Could be a top team if they can find the net and stay healthy. Goaltending needs to be bolstered- I suggest they put in a Claim for Byron Dafoe to go with Pasi Nurinen. After sitting out half a season and getting a slow start- he might be worth a shot
Like the team above, the bobcats have a nice mix of forewards and defensemen.
While there are no snioers on this team, scoring depth is spread out evenly amongst all positions. +/- and P{IMs are strong suits. The Bobcats also got theur hands on two solid starters in Goal and are pretty well set
