Eric Moulds was walking slowly and stiffly on a strained groin and his status for Buffalo's Oct. 12 game with the New York Jets remained uncertain.
"He's sore but it's really still too early to tell," coach Gregg Williams said of his star wide receiver.
Williams wouldn't say whether Moulds would be healthy enough to practice on Oct. 8, when the Bills return to the field to prepare to face the Jets at the Meadowlands.
Moulds declined to talk after attending team meetings.
