Can you explain exactly how the scoring works? Is it a point for each category (G, A, PIM, +/-)?

Ya, I want to know too, I'm used to playing in a point based league. So is PIM really that important?

Everyone should carry atleast an enforcer....if your league does infact use PIM as one of its point getters, someone like Andrew Peters, or Donald Brashear, or Peter Worrell would be people to get. Atleast one.

Each week your team will compete against another in the league "head to Head"

Below are the 11 categories your two teams will be competing with.

If Dozerdogs get 11 goals total for the week, and the Sporks get 9, then the Dozerdogs get a "win" in that category. Each category is weighted the same. So you can have the top 5 goal scorers in the league, but goal scoring is just 1 of 11 categories.

If no one on your team acquires PIM's (penalty minutes) and the other team has Tie Domi and Eric Boulton getting in fights each night, they will win that category.

Each category won gets you 2 points, if a tie occurs each team gets 1 point.

The most successful team will have players that can score, have good +/- ratings, and acquire penalties.

Goalie stats are a bit different- you need a minimum 2 starts to get any or all stats recorded. If your team does not get two starts, you forefeit all 5 categories to your opponent
(10 points)

Excellent, thanks. Just to be clear. We need a total of 2 starts between our two goalies. Is that correct?
