I think in 2 weeks when the Skins come to town. If Bruce is just 1 sack away from breaking the sack record, on one play we could just do like Favre did with Strahan and let him have it. I think it would be great for him to do it in Buffalo cause I all know we will be cheering for him still. I always liked Bruce and will be screeming BRRRUUUCCCCEEE!!!! at my TV when he makes a tackle but I really think it would be a fitting end to a wonderful career if he gets it in Buffalo. What do you guys think? Although with our passblocking we may not have to "let" him have it....

You said it right there! Our pass blocking sucks, we won't have to give him a sack...Pucillo can just keep blocking the way he does and Bruce can line up against him. :lol:

Even if it is just one sack? I think we should let him. That is crazy to not. What better place then in Buffalo to get the record?

I'd like to see him get the record in Buffalo but there's no way in hell I tell a player to let him have one. Plus, with the way the Skins are moving up and down the field and the way our offense isn't we don't need to hurry off on any series.

If BRUCE really wants to get it here, all he has to do is line up at LDT opposite Pucillo. Only thing is, wouldn't he only get half sacks since Pucillo has actually helped the defender bring Drew down? :scratch:

Farve is a media w*ore. TMQ on ESPN's site once said the most dangerous 6 feet on Earth is that between Farve and a camera. His lay-down for Strahen IMHO was a snotty egotistical slap in the face of the NFL'ers that fought hard for their accomplishments. NO WAY Bruce would want a gimmie. NO way.

Amen- no freebies here. I'd like to see Bruce get the record because of his contribution to the Bills, but I'd rather see it come against a different team, and it takes away from the significance if we give him a free shot.

What Favre did is just plain wrong- records note accomplishment and "letting" people break records defeats the purpose.

I say we acknowlege his achievement and do the "BRUUUUUUCE!!!" thing, but no gimmies.
