It's supposed to rotate monthly. But if the team is doing well, I can see it being extended. I think the article says as much on Sabres.com.

It's good to some semi-closure to this issue. I didn't want to go into the season with the rotating 'As'. I foresee the captaincy going beyond October for Miro.

That's a great newws. Miro is captain material more than anyone on this team!

Drury has no leverag in this locker room. You don't trade for a guy and make him your captain the first year unless he proves great leadership which I don't think has happened with Drury yet.

Satan is a great leader in the locker room as well... don't be folled by his calm attitude!

I would like to see him be the captain for the whole year. I hate those captaincy rotation... nonsense! :box:

I agree with David. Drury should not have even been considered as the captain, being a first year player on this team. He is great, but not our captain candidate.........yet.

Go Miro! I think it was the best choice, and maybe our opinion in the Sabres.com poll helped.
Now if only they come out in the old-style jerseys, then we'll know we REALLY have some pull.
