The injury-riddled Saints defense took another hit Tuesday when the NFL suspended reserve cornerback Keyuo Craver for four games without pay for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
The suspension means Craver, a fourth-round pick in 2002 from the University of Nebraska, violated the policy at least on one other occasion and has been subjected to random drug testing.
The league did not specify Craver's violation.
Craver, 5 feet 10, 195 pounds, played in five games this season, primarily on special teams. He had one tackle on special teams.
