Jaguars | Hanson Injures Leg - from www.KFFL.com
    Thu, 9 Oct 2003 11:30:17 -0700

Jaguars.com reports Jacksonville Jaguars P Chris Hanson's (leg) non-kicking leg has been injured by an axe in the player's locker room. Head coach Jack Del Rio placed the axe, along with a tree stump, in the locker room to symbolize his philosophy of "keep choppin' wood." No word has been given on how or to what exent he was injured. Meanwhile, the team is expected to sign P Mark Royals (Dolphins) as an immediate replacement.

hahaha, I don't know whats more rediculous, the theory of "keep choppin wood", or the thoughts of how Jason Hanson could have possibly injured his leg with the axe.

The best part about it all is they signed Royals (the punter we just cut) so hopefully he can shank some for us and we'll forgive him
