The best head coach in college football and the best head coach in the NFL will be working different sidelines in Dallas County this weekend.
And now, for Jerry Jones' next move:
After 10 years of being the mayor of Stupidville, Mr. Jones reinvented himself and finally hired a real coach.
Giddy with the instant transformation Bill Parcells had provided the Cowboys, Mr. Jones has held up well under a barrage of told-you-sos.
"I'd have done it earlier," Jerry now jokes, "but I didn't want to hear it from you people."
In this case, "you people" meant local sportswriters, but it can also be expanded to every fan of the Cowboys, every employee of the team (although very privately) and every Jones family member.
