    Martz nixes Sehorn's Monday return

The Rams were hopeful that last weekend's bye would do the trick, that a week of rest and two weeks between games would allow safety Jason Sehorn and rookie wide receiver Kevin Curtis to finally heal from their injuries and return to action.

But on Tuesday, Curtis said he was pessimistic about his ability to play Monday night against the Falcons. And on Thursday, Rams coach Mike Martz ruled out Sehorn, who was so sore he couldn't even practice.

"We wanted to make sure we got him evaluated again," Martz said. "He's still probably a little ways away, a week or so. We'll keep him out this week. He's just got to be pain free and have no soreness at all. He's sore enough that it's not worth the risk.
