.....but didn't it seem that Schobel was 5-10 yards deep when he caught his interception? I'm just wondering why he wasn't going the other direction with the rest of the pass rush. Any ideas? Was that a designed defensive play? :scratch:

It was meant to be a special blitz like that and they said it was the same kind of play from week 1, where Sam Adams got an interception.

if you look at JJamezz video, you can see that the play was called that way. Schobel dropped back and ended up right in front of the reciever.

Exactly. Defensive line players drop back into coverage so other players can rush the passer.

Cuz if you do, teams just start jamming the ball down your throat.
Actually we're using them quite a bit and have gotten some turnovers as a result. I've even seen Lebeau dropping both his ends into passing lanes at the same time. It creates a lot of second guessing for QB's but overusing it will definitely get you burnt.
