All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.

Almost 5 complete periods this year without a goal as I write this.
The team is sleep walking, or very slow and lumbering. No energy or enthusiasm.
Same old. They even look WORSE than last year.
Ruff should have been let go.

I'm not sure it's Ruff's fault that no one seems to know how to shoot the puck ON the goal right now...
Maybe they just need more practice with the new lines?

First two games of the season, and yet not one Sabres goal, a shameful display...
I believe Ruff is a terrible coach and only brought the team to the finals in '99 because of Hasek and Peca...
Has he gotten the team anywhere after they left?
Ruff has had his time and the lack of effort by the Sabres players on the ice proves that, be gone with Lindy and bring us a coach that will make these players work for their money...
I don't know what the problem is with this team. I don't think Hasek and Peca were the reasons we got to the cup final. If i remember correctly, Hasek only bailed us out of one or two games that playoff...namely the first game against Ottawa when he stopped 40 plus shots.. Ruff is a good coach but, he doesn't have the horses here. Chris drury is good, Andy Delmore is good...but, theyre not superstars. Drury is a damn good player, don't get me wrong, but we still have no game breakers on this team and theyre still going to struggle to score. Strap it on folks...once we get back from this western swing, we might have only a few points to show for our efforts!!! Out of the playoffs by November. I hope not.

I personally like Lindy Ruff and have supported him in the past. But it's obvious this team has the same attitude, and unfortunetly, you can't ship out the entire team. You can ship out the coach, however. If we lose the first five games (like I think we will), then I'll drive Ruff to the airport.
