If and when GW is fired, who's next

I would like to know, in everyone's opinion, who would be the best coaching prospect should the pwrs that be decide to ditch Williams midseason. HUGE shakeup

If you fire a coach in midseason, usually you gotta hire within. I think Dick LeBeau will be promoted to HC, and Les Steckel will be promoted to OC after Gilbride gets fired.

If Williams were to be fired modseason, I agree, the only viable option would be to stay within the team. Either Les Steckel of Dick LeBeau could do the job 'til the end of the season. The question I have, and I don't have an answer: does Dick LeBeau want to be a head coach again at his age, particularly in the midst of the firestorm that the Buffalo Bills have become? He's in his late 60's and was planning on doing a lot of fishing until the Bills talked into taking another shot in the position he presently holds. It might end up being Les Steckel by default, in which case he might have to be his own OC.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

If Lebeau was ready to retire I wonder why he took the title of Ass. Head Coach and not Def. Ass. I think DL was almost run into retirement because of the the Bengals organization or lack of.DL and TD might have had something in mind from the get go.

I'm not a big fan of Gilbride at this point.

I dont blame you after that game, but this was a top 5 offense last year under KG with him calling the plays. Maybe Lebeau run the show with some guidance on playcalling from Steckle and Lebeau
