Our offense isn't consistent enough to put together long drives. We will mess up eventually and have to punt. If teams take away our big plays they take away our offense.
This is nothing new. This started last year after our offense got off to a quick start. I was expecting this but had hope. The hope is now gone.
Travis Henry is not the RB we need for this offense. He is too slow and doesn't make big plays. Before he got 3-6 yards a pop. He's been exposed and can't even get consistent yardage anymore.
I'm optimistic about McGahee but I don't believe he'll make a big impact this year. The way it looks now I wish we would've traded Henry before this year when his value was high. The best we can hope for now is probably a conditional #1. The dreams we had about a Top 10 pick is out of reality now.
