    Coaching Makes A Difference

Dallas QB Quincy Carter after a 23-21 home win over Philadelphia: “This is a new era. This is a new football team.
Parcells has brought a whole new toughness to this team.”

It's a new era because Terry Glenn is there; Larry Allen is healthy; Antonio Bryant is a year older; Richie Anderson is the fullback; Ryan Young is there; Chad Hutchinson is on the bench; and Emmitt is gone, finally giving someone who is not 3 years past their due date a chance to carry the ball.

Give Parcells credit for bringing in good players, but it's not like he's taking a team of nobodies to amazing heights.

Its the coaching. Gregg Williams would be 1-4 with those players.

        You're kidding right?

Where do you think our offense is better than Dallas'? After Bledsoe and Henry I'm at a loss.

The Dallas D has been together for years and has been top 10 for like the last 3 or so.

Why did everyone expect Dallas to suck??

Look what ever it is the players are motivated by BP. Gregg has lost his team. Time for him to go.

            Ummm...three consecutive 5-11 campaigns maybe?
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

Look at the team during those years though ...

              rookie or second-year QB's.
Both receivers injured (a Galloway and Ismail would have made a big difference)
              OL injury problems.
An RB determined to break a record and an owner wanting to give it to him regardless of the cost to the team.

On the other side of the ball, they've been pretty solid all along.

I agree with this statement ... I just don't thik Parcells is a god for what he has done in Dallas.

I do think he's one of the best current coaches and probably a top-5er all time, but what he's done in Dallas is nothing special, yet.
