Marv Levy as the Interm Bills coach????

Before everyone starts laughing about this thread, think about how this would work. I was looking at the empire web site earlier and i stumbled upon this...

"The wild card here could be Marv Levy who certainly has a great relationship with Ralph Wilson and told our Jim Brinson if his phone rang with any head coaching opportunity in the NFL, he would say yes in a heartbeat."

This is mentioning the fact that Marv Levy could come in here as an interm head coach and run this team for the rest of the year....now, why don't we give this a try...

    Steckal for OC
    Lebeau for DC
    Marv for Head Coach

Tell me why this would not work and why this should not happen??? We cannot get ANY worse and we are going nowhere right now. Something has to be done for any chance at the playoffs this year. GW is the worst coach in the league and the players have NO FIRE while playing for him. Shake it up and bring in Marv, it would fire the fans up, the players, and hopefully save our season.

If Jauron and Shoop still have their jobs in Chicago, I doubt GW and KG would be canned anytime this sesaon.

Makes a lot of sense, Mackey. Think management would do it?
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

he would definitly bring leadership and he would atleast get in a players face and tell him he is sucking it up out there. Im all for it, he could posibly save the season.

Excellent post. Levy would be ideal in the interim role, and a bye week is for obvious reasons the optimum time.

Respectfully disagree. Levy as interim; it's hard to think who else would be available in the short term. Levy has earned respect, he certainly would positively affect the current haos.

                          oops. Current CHAOS, not "haos".

A reincarnate Vince Lombardi in his prime would not win us the SB this year...instant gratification is no longer an option.
