I heard Jeff Morrison on WNSA earlier today and he said that it sounds like Marques Sullivan may start at RG on Sunday. Apparently Sullivan is getting more reps than before. He did however say that Pucillo is still lining up with the starting team too. Also, Willis McGahee is on the practice field catching balls and running. He is doing limited work and they are doing light contact drills with him and will slowly put him into more and more contact.
Marques Sullivan coming back on Sunday?

Please, Please let it be true!!!!!!!
Why do you screw with an OLine that produced a RB with 1400 yards, 2 1000 yard receivers and a 4300 yard QB?
Tale of the tape Pucillo 6'4" 311 / Sullivan 6'5" 325.
OL coach Ruel must have had some beef with Sullivan.Last edited by NC-BILLS44; 10-16-2003, 07:32 AM.

I hope Sullivan is up to the challenge. I don't see how he can get any worse than Pucillo.what the last four years of a Republican House, Senate and Presidency has gotten us ...- tax cuts for the wealthy in the hundreds of billions
- 1,000 dead American servicemen
- the U.S. Constitution trampled upon
- our national debt growing into the TRILLIONS of dollars
- implicit lies and consistent obfuscations of the truth regarding Iraq
I can hardly wait to see what four more years will get us.

I think we are getting overly excited.
Yes, Pucillo is bad ... but Sullivan was not pro-bowl calibre.
If the success of our offense hinges on a player of Sullivan's calibre, that is a horrible statement on the offensive talent.
There's more problems to the OL (and offense) than Pucillo, although this is a step in the right direction.

Our Line was fine last year running the ball. The reason given for putting Pucillo in was for better pass protection. Nobody is giving up more sacks than Pucillo. Sullivan can be nothing but an improvement.

I agree that Sullivan will be an improvement ... but are you saying that the entire success of our offense hinges on our RG? Reuben is playing his worst in years ... Teague seems to have taken a step back. I have trouble believing this is all bc of Pucillo and has nothing at all to do with Ruel or any other changes on offense.
