They are both gone yet people still bring them up...along with Todd Collins...will this end it?

Unfortunately, I'm gonna say no, this will not be the last DF/RJ thread. People still find one or both of them interesting and if there's interest, there will be threads. :)

A definite no, there are some who can't let it go.

I enjoy reading the DF vs. RJ debates.

why should it be. we still discuss jimbo vs Marino. Flutie vs RJ was a very interesting time in Bills football and shouldn't be banished from conversation

It would be nice not to here anything about the two for atleast a full season. Some wounds take longer to heal:hammeru: :hamrhed:

No, it is not the last thread. I agree with Bduff. They will be scrutenized for a couple more years. If Johnson starts and is sacked 5 times in a game there will be a new thread. When Flutie complains about his teammates a new thread will be started. Hopefully we are past comparing the two but individually there will be many more threads.

Just wait until Flutie and Schottenheimer clash. This could get ugly.

Shottenheimer went to San Diego? Damn, the Skins are giving all their trash to the Chargers, huh? First Norv and now Shott. Sucks to be a Chargers fan.

Don't forget the Bolts $4 million TE Alexander from the 'skins

I don't think I heard about that one, Dozer. I usually tune out anything Skins related on the news. lol

We can only pray that we can stop talking about Flutie and RJ

I fell somewhere in the middle of the whole DF vs. RJ debate. I thought Flutie did fantastic when he played for the Bills. But I thought (at the time) that the future was with RJ and that they needed to get rid of Flutie and give full reins to RJ. Well, that failed miserably. So I was never a Flutie Flake or Johnsonite.

I bet no one will disagree that Flutie is a much superior QB than Johnson. I think that was more than proven.

BFO,

Unfortunately, far too often the arguments in support of your contention fall on deaf ears.

it was. flutie has proven throughout his career including college and the CFL that he is a capable QB

I will stop talking about it when they both retire
