Linebacker for the Detroit Lions is a free agent ( 9th pick overall a few years back. Butkus award winner.. A solid linebacker who has played both outside linebacker and now middle linebacker. He is a free agent nex year. e wants to play for a defense which the line backers blitz the quarterback more. I know te Lions defense sucks but e is one player who stands out. He is very productive..

I am not sure if the Lions are going to franchise tag him or what but, he looks like he would be a great pick up if we can get his cap number at the right price. He may want out to a contending team.

He might be another type of Spielman pick up or a Bryce Paup type of pick up next year

I doubr Lions franchise him because he's not worth that type of $$$. Many teams would likely be interested because LB depth around the NFL is lacking and next years draft doesn;t appear deep. I would prefer re-signing Newman before thinking about adding Claibourne(close enough)........or adding help on the DL
