    Goaltending Situation

    What do you all think about the Goaltending Situation of the Sabres?

    Who do you think is our best, and who should go.

    Also, is there any other goalies you could see coming to Buffalo in the near future?


    I think Biron is our best bet even though he is inconsistent. Well, then again all of our goalies are.

    I say Noronen should be traded, for at least a good d-man.

    But about new goalies coming here, not sure, but wow I would be so happy if Golly coughed up the change for Cujo.

        You'd get a 3rd for Noronen at this point in time and be super lucky to get 2nd.

        You want a 20 goal scorer? Throw Noronen in along with Mckee.

          Ya, I was going to say Mckee, but I mean, hes like one of our leaders you know? And he is like one of our few tough guys.

              Oh, my bad.

              I doubt he would be traded anytime soon anyway.

                Me either. Now that he's starting to play a physical game once again, he's the only guy that the Sabres have with any semblance of toughness on that blueline.

                    I would package Noronen with another player and make a deal for either a C with some size OR a big intimidating D man.

                        Change Norenon's Designation from Goalie to Defense,
                        and give him Regular Player Gear and Tel Him to Just Camp out near our net, hehe Preliminary Goalie (the Skate-Zilla Strategy of Death)

                            Ok, well the game at Edmonton wasnt Marty's fault at all. He played great, he could not prevent the 3 goals that went in, he was left hanging.

                            If they play Noronen vs. Calgary i wont be too happy.

                              They probably won't play Noronen for this game because I am sure Lindy realizes that it wasn't Birons fault that he let in three goals.

                              As a Mika fan, I say trade Biron...

                              Although I wouldn't quite do it yet, I would split the playing times between the two 'tenders (leave Miller in the AHL) and see who comes out the better of the two.

                              Then it would be time to give one of them up...
