Yes, his Buffalo Bills were lousy in nearly every way a football team can be lousy in Sunday’s 30-3 loss to the New York Jets.
But no, his players were not listless. No, they didn’t quit on him. After all, to an NFL coach, thems is fightin’ words.
“As professionals, I don’t think that any of these guys have quit,” Williams said. “I don’t think as professionals, any of these guys have a lack of enthusiasm. We’ve just not executed some of the given opportunities that we’ve had.
