Henry played a good game today. But it should have been even better. One of the reasons we drafted McGahee was for break away speed. Some of those runs Henry had today should have been taken to the house if he had it.

They weren't catching him from behind, so why do you think more speed would have helped....and even so if he ran a 4.1 they still would have had hi,m. TH did a great job!

Well I just came back because I was curious about how you all would react to the team winning again and after the comment on Henry I am reassured that most of you all want to complain rather than rejoice at any conclusion. So farewell fairweather fans!

I think they should keep Henry this year, work McGahee in the 3rd down back spot and let him mature. Then after a couple of years let Henry go (providing he has two years on his contract, I am not up to date on that) and make Willis your #1 back. Henry is only in his third year. He can be a dangerous back given the right OL and some holes for him to go through. Keep them both and let Willis mature into the back he once was in college. Don't forget, he is only a rookie, everyone is walking around toting him like he is a 4th year back...

He had a great game today. Maybe if the coaches would commit to running the ball we could have a shot at beating some of the better teams we'll be playing.
Kudos to Josh Reed as well for getting the job done today.

In the press room, the offensive line spoke to the point, they said they were happy that this week that the run was to be featured. They have a lot of confidence in TH.

Were they happy about all their holding calls? Re: McGahee, the running back position has less of a leap from college to the pros than almost any other position. It's easier for running backs to make the adjustment from college to the pros than QBs, WRs, TEs, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, linebackers and DBs. I like Travis Henry, but I don't think that Buffalo can afford to have two top flight running backs on the roster long term. It's not the dollars, for Henry has a cheap contract. It's the fact that the Bills could use one of them to trade for something that the need, either a player who can start or a draft choice with which they can select a player who should start. The fact remains that one of them is going to warm the bench as long as they are both wearing Bills uniforms. You don't want a player to warm the bench when you can trade him for a starter.

Because I dont want to post in an ALWAYS NEGATIVE forum anymore make ME the fairweather fan? I think that makes me a fan who doesnt like seeing his team verbally butchered every week by its so called fans.
