For the KC game, why not kick it out of bound? A buddy of mine brought this up last night! On any kickoff next week, KC will probably get the ball between the 30-35 yard line! So why not just kick it out of bounds and give them the extra 5-10 yards? It would take Dante Hall completely out of the game!

Not a good idea, the guy isn't going to run one back everytime he gets the ball. If you think they will start on the 30 or 35 yard line, why give them any extra? If the guy is a fear, then the team needs to face it! plus, Lindell needs to boot the damn ball deeper!

I hope he runs a couple back after we're up by 28. I have the Chiefs D on my fantasy team.

Well, I understand the appeal of that. Thing is, a kick-out-of-bounds gived KC the ball on the 40, by rule. Not good. "Endeavor" to never let the opposition dictate what you want to do.

KC's ripe for a fall...but they won' fall if prevent def prevails.

If the Bills are up by 28 points, would it be good thing to have the KC D?

I see is as a preemptive strike!

I'd rather kick to him than give KC's #1 offense the ball with fantastic field position.

But in Theory, we're talking 5 yards!

I don't think that kicking the ball out of bounds is a good idea because of the mindset it will give our players.

Think of it, if KC wins the toss and elects to receive and our first move is to kick it out of bounds ... our coaches first statement in the game is, "All right, these guys are better than us, let's just hope they don't beat us too bad."

To an extent! But at the same time, it's only really saying, "Hey this guy is good, we're going to take him out of the game. Really should only bother the special teams guys.

I'm not sold one way or another on this one, but I like thinking out of the box. Not many football coaches do this. Others let their pride get in the way.

I can think of 27 reasons to kick it to him...

If we are gonna give em the feild position, lets just onside kick it every time...Now thats thinking outside the box.

That's taking the box apart and starting it on fire. I'm talking about giving them about 5 yards not about 35 yards!

I'd be happy with 12 points from my defense against the Bills. I think that's the only way I'll be happy with the outcome next week. :D

Why can't Lindell kick it out of the end zone? I thought his lengthy contract insinuated that he was the Bills answers to their kicking game? Obviously not.

I thought he only had a 3 year deal, hardly locked him up for life... Lindell is dependable, but i still dont want him kicking a 50+ yarder with no time left to tie the game.
