WASHINGTON -- The Washington Redskins have rehired Joe Bugel as a consultant as they attempt to fix the pass blocking, sources told the Washington Post for Tuesday's editions.
Bugel was an assistant to former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs from 1981 to 1989, helping guide the offensive lines on teams that won the 1982 and 1987 Super Bowls.
The club does not intend to fire offensive line coach Kim Helton, sources told the paper, but will use Bugel without adding him to the coaching staff....
