Beuerlein goes as Jackson arrives
Unceremoniously but not unexpectedly, the unofficial end has arrived for veteran quarterback Steve Beuerlein, whom the Broncos placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Another beginning has arrived for quarterback Jarious Jackson, who will re-sign with the Broncos today, a team official confirmed.
The roster renovation is hardly complete. To fill Beuerlein's roster spot, the Broncos signed offensive tackle P.J. Alexander off the New Orleans Saints' practice squad.
To make room for Jackson, the Broncos will cut another player today.
