All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Can't they at least get the feed from LA's home station? I just picked up the Digital Sports package on Time Warner to watch the games, and I haven't seen one yet.
I don't think they are showing it because it is too late of a game to recieve a lot of viewers, I know I was asleep before it started and thats just because I have to wake up for school the next morning.
The games are on the center ice package - we're spoiled. Empire broadcasts more games than any other market except NY city. I lived in Virginia for 15 years and watched damn near every game from the late '90s on Empire. If I was a sad Flyers fan, I would have been screwed thanks to their exclusive Comcast deal. Even our local network from Richmond, HTS, split games with the Bullets/Wizards instead of live broadcasts. With that said, it would have been nice to watch but I'm sure its a cost cutting move and weeknight 9 or 10 oclock starts draw their lowest ratings overall. Dont forget the fact that the World Series in action, drawing huge major network numbers nationally.
Im starting a formal petition, who wants to join me?

Exactly what are you petitioning? Empire's Sabres coverage is NOT that bad. In fact, i think it brings Sabres hockey to us in very good detail and it broadcasts like 75 games. I don't give a **** if a game against Vancouver or LA is blacked out esp if its on the west coast. I"m asleep by the second period anyway. Empire is hanging on by the skin of its teeth. If it has to save a few bucks here and there for the good of the whole, then so be it. I don't mind not watching a few west coast games.
Quit yer *****in.

Doesn't Empire rebroadcast the TV play by play over the Radio? And if there is no TV coverage, thenRick Jenerette and Jim Lorentz have to go to do the radio play-by- play anyway? So if they are there, what is Empire saving?
Usually for road games, the visiting teams use the home team's TV feed anyway- no one travels with their own TV crews, even ESPN uses the home team cameramen.
If the announcers are there, and they are getting the feed- Empire just has to provide minimal cost to put it on. It makes little sense. Unless there is some large fee for satelite time they can't afford or something. It doesn't make sense.
