Girl Injured Attempting To Fly Like 'Harry Potter'

A 4-year-old girl was critically injured after she apparently tried to fly after watching "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" movie, according to a Local 6 News report.

Authorities in Shelby, N.C., said that the girl watched the movie and then crawled onto a kitchen counter, straddled a broom and then jumped off.

The injured girl was at a neighbor's house when she tried to fly away on the broom.

:rolleyes: if the parents try and sue everyone to include whoever cut the tree down for the broom (if it was wooden broomstick - hey! maybe that's what the problem was... she was using a "new" broom), the judge should tell her she has to sue the neighbors first for not keeping an eye on the kids. Doubt they would want to do that. Not as much money in it.
