KC just broke a rule. Up 30 and going for 7 on a 30 yd EZ pass attempt Remember that...

I like it. What can happen? The Bills will try to beat them next time they play? Whoopdedoo.

Go for the points when you can. This is pro football.
Argue like hell. Keep it clean. And when it's over, shake hands and root for our team!

I agree with the play. Don't stop the momentum going into the next game. Keep your players focused on winning and strive for excellence. It sucks that it happened against our team, but I wouldn't want the Bills laying down on the ball if the shoe was on the other foot.

No. While it may not thrive in general society anymore, good sportsmanship generally exists in the NFL. What the Cheifs did wasn't egregious, but it went against tha grain. I noted after that play (that was the one that K. Thomas picked it but went out of bounds), the next KC play was a 41 plunge. I think that Vermeil took note of what happened.

I don't recall seeing anybody yell to backoff at the AFC Championship game in 1991, when we were up 41-3.

Oh, how I long for those days...

Kelly used to try to cover the spread at home even if the game was in hand.

As long as points are used for a tiebreaker, every team should try to run it up.

They have a coach who wants his team to go for the throat which is exactly what you want. Look what happened to Tampa Bay against Indy, Green Bay against KC, teams get on a late roll and you never know if it's going to happen to you.

Tiebreakers matter for sure. especially with the recent divisional format. I didn't consider that. Still, rather bad form, trying to kick in the ribcage of a downed foe. I viewed it as a rub in the face; things come around.

I would run up the points if I could.

So what? They're a great team and we smell. Smelly teams get kicked around by great teams.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

                        When did good sportsmanship die?

Apparently you didn't see any KC games last year. A 30 point lead in the 4th quarter didn't guarentee victory (a real big reason we were 8-8 last year).

Old habits die hard, I suppose.

I wouldn't call it poor sportsmanship; I'd call it a survival instinct kicking in.
