What A COLOSSAL Waste Of My $!!!!!

Hotel, airfare, car rental, food, fuel (these rentals don't run on battery power), and other items! Maybe I should bill One Bills Drive for this.

Positives from last night? Lemme see:

    1. Run blocking-Travis did find some holes to run through this time.

    2. Travis-he ran very hard, hitting the hole and not dancing around to make people miss. He ran with power.

    3. Moorman-by keeping his punts up high and long, he was able to keep Hall from burning us in the return game.

    Negatives? Oh boy......here we go:

    1. Bledsoe-one Gawd awful performance! Sure he had a rush in his face often, but he has to have better awareness in the pocket. If it isn't there, THROW THE DAMN BALL AWAY!!!!!! What did he have, 5 turnovers? Ugly.

    2. Pass protection-anyone else catch Teague being tossed around like a rag doll? Not to mention Pucillo, who is just a terrible guard. Can we PLEASE replace him now, Gregg???

    3. (lack of a) Pass Rush-GET TO THE DAMN QUARTERBACK!!!!!!!!! Posey, Denney (sucks), Schobel (decent, but not enough) and the rest of them have generated no heat on opposing QBs for the most part this season. I don't look for this to improve until next year. These guys simply don't have what it takes and, like the DTs last year, are bringing the entire defense down.

    4. Play calling-again, we're throwing the ball in short yardage/goal line situations far too often. This sucks. Gilbride has shown that he cannot run this offense in those situations, but who could do better? Gregg? Steckel? Anyone?

    5. Tackling-guys are missing the runner/receiver/QB right at the point of attack and are being shed for big gains way too much. I saw Holmes run right out of the 'tackles' of Adams, Denney, and Milloy. I also remember Green shaking off a sack for a big gain ON THE GROUND!! Trent Green?? C'mon now, guys!

    6. Coverage-I guess we went back to the Jets game planning for this one. Nobody was anywhere near their man for most of this game. The safeties were out of position and just too slow to get to the ball. The corners were also awful. Bad game all around for these guys.

    7. Intangibles-does this horrible performance mean that we're going to have another 'stern talking to' by Spikes and company? Is this another "we've got to get the fire back" scenario? How many more of these will we be subjected to? That will make it easier on us; we'll know which games they'll be fired up for and which ones they'll lay an egg in.

With the bye week on us now, I'm getting ready for an even longer "Rhetoric Period". You know, the time when you'll hear this:

(add name of Bills player/coach/exec here) "...............................execute........................make plays................play with emotion.....................get things corrected..........blah blah blah..."

This is all I could think of on very little sleep. I'm sure I'll think of more once I have more of a chance to digest this 'game'. I feel ill.

    CLASSIC QUOTE!!

"We've been simplifying. As the year goes on, we usually get more simpler. We'll continue to do that."

    More simpler is right. ******.

You WENT to that slaughter? Wow. I felt bad enough just driving back from VA, where I watched the game with G. Host and Wys. I would be livid if I had spent dough on a trip down there just to see them hand the game over like that. Good points you make there, too. Other than Henry and Moorman, I don't know if I could single out anyone for a job well done, not even the OL.

I would add Trent Green's big shot on Clements on the Holmes TD run. That can't happen.

I actually felt bad for the Bills players in the 4th quarter. A game like this can have a damaging psychological effect on a team. As a Dolfan, that's good news. But as a football fan, I felt bad.

I think Ralph's laughing all the way to the bank too. Practically the entire season is sold out, and according to Saturday's Buffalo News, sale of Bills Merchandise is up 134% over last year!!!!

Hope sure springs eternal in the Queen's City!

He'll be laughing until next season's ST sales plummet by 20%. I'm most serious when I say if we have no rookie next year ready to replace Drew or no veteran in there in place of him that I'm not gonna renew my STs.

I don't pay for crap and lies! As many of you know, I've been critical of TD's moves. NOT b/c I enjoy it or want to "play the spoiler" or "poop the party", but for EXACTLY THIS reason! Many seem to go back to the Kool-Aid vat time after time saying how TD's a genius, etc., but I gotta tell ya, he doesn't look to bright right now!

              E-Klips:

Funny your choice of words! I was watching the game w/ R.Rich and G.Host and that's exactly the word I used to describe Teague's play. He was getting "tossed around like a rag doll!" So your observation was very astute.

As well, I pointed out to R.Rich, after G.Host went home LOL, how on one running play the ENTIRE line went forward and to the right in a run block but Pucillo, or PussyWillow as Rich has named him, went backwards to the left. No kidding! It was unbelieveable.

And this is the guy that TD assured us "is capable of playing G". Uhhuh! Can I bend over for you again Tom!

Meanwhile, anyone w/ a tenth of a brain would raise an eyebrow at the notion of being that confident w/ a second-year 7th round draft pick playing G w/o any game experience whatsoever. Not Tom the Genius tho!

And as to Bledsoe, I really, really fail to see the differences as to why this season he should be given any levity at all when he's doing the exact same things that RJ was run out of town for. Sacks, just as many, doesn't throw the ball away, perhaps just as often but at least RJ used to try to make some sort of break for it. Sure, into a LB, but he ran for cryin' out loud! Drew just stands there. In fact, on that one play where he got clocked fromt he blind side, I have NF clue WTH he was even thinking. It appeared as if he just stopped as if the play was over. And he had plenty of time, more than Green had often.

I'm gonna tell it the way it is, y'all, if you think this is bad, just wait. We still haven't seen Bledsoe at his finest. The man's incapable, for 11 seaons now, of playing good games against such teams as NE, Miami, Tennessee, and Indy. Look for 3-5 TDs to 10-12 INTs in those four games!

At the end of this season Drew won't be worth a 4th rounder in trade.

              Unbelieveable.

I have no idea what Donahoe is gonna do next season. I can guess.

              Sign Romo.
              Sign Gannon.
See if Bryon Cox wants to come back.

And sift thru the league's IR lists to see who has the worst injuries that we can "get a real bargain on!"

After all, it's all about the ticket sales, eh!

To think that this team can be .500 is an absolute joke. We'll be lucky to be 3-5 in our last 8.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

              Then let's go to Disneyworld!

              GO BILLS!!!

BTW, if these rumors of McGahee having swelling are true, and he turns out to be anything other than a marquee RB, TD's gonna look like a complete fool.

I did not renew my season tickets after this year and when they called me to ask why I told them the product they were giving was not worth the money. The guy from the Bills said he agreed with me and said goodby.

Pussywillow sucks! I am so tired of seeing him and Teague lying flat on their backs! Are they offensive linemen, or lovers?

                      Wish List:

                      1. FA offensive guard
                      2. FA defensive end
                      3. draft defensive end
                      4. draft offensive guard
                      5. draft quarterback
                      6. FA center
                      7. draft cornerback
                      8. FA cornerback
                      9. FA linebacker (as a rush specialist)
                      10. new offensive coordinator
                      11. new defensive coordinator

......that's a good 'starter list', don't you think?

It's not about expecting a win or primetime games or any of that crap. It's about expecting a team to be prepared to play on Sunday, something we aren't seeing out of the Bills on a consistent basis. I wouldn't mind it as much if they would've gave the Chiefs a game. Instead, they rolled over for them and played as poorly as I've seen them play all year. If the play improves, the wins will come, but the play is not improving. What do we have to look forward to if that trend continues?
