At least he brought better run support and blitzing when he was in there even though he still needs work at his coverage abilities. What would it hurt? The pass coverage couldn't be much worse right now anyways, right?? And as an extra added bonus it would also keep me from getting in trouble everytime I teased Shelby about wearing the jersey of a special teams player around.church:
Would we be better off with Coy Wire at Strong Safety?

There's no question that Milloy is better than Wire. Now.
But I suppose we'll never know how good Wire is b/c apparently he's never gonna play w/ Milloy ahead of him, eh.
Think about what would have happened if the Bucs had signed a guy like Milloy to start ahead of John Lynch after his rookie season which was no more impressive, less in fact, than Wire's!
I think it's a good question if you consider the money we'd have had minus Milloy. How well do you think Milloy will be playing in 4 seasons when he's 34/35? Meanwhile, will Wire walk when his contract is up?
To say we all know that Wire sucks is ridiculous. He's played half a rookie season!
To say Milloy is will never play better than he has is a very, very safe wager!
So the question becomes was he worth what we paid in bonus and future salary for him?
I think it's a GREAT question! I wouldn't have made that deal. Especially since we did have Wire. We had at least 5 more pressing needs.Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!
Then let's go to Disneyworld!
GO BILLS!!!
