He is a typical negative bills fan, they are all over the place...they like to pick apart everything, no matter what our record indicates. I can remember back to after the jacksonville game, WYS was still picking apart everything, now he has a ton to talk about. Yes, i agree with a lot of what he says, but he is relentless. If we went 16-0, won the superbowl, and didnt give up any points, there would still be something wrong. Its fans like that who piss me off but we all have to deal with.

My only issues with the negative Bills fans is that a few will try to make you feel "stupid" for just being a fan-
Hey- they can get Hitler to play QB and I'll root for him- because He's OUR QB!
Just because you root for the guy doesn't mean you are some sort of blind following fool as some of these guys want to think.

It's easy to criticize after the fact. At the time, there were a large # of people who thought Ryan Leaf was better than Peyton Manning.
Hell, I even thought the Bills' trade for RJ was a good one at the time!
So, I put no credibility at all into hindsight observations like this UNLESS you can back up your statement of what you thought at the time too.
Please don't tell me you missed the point of that...

:crazed: Most usually criticized afterwards, that's when you know you have something to criticized. But actually Wys knew Drew before he got here, I still like Drew's arm, but his non mobility is starting to catch up with him, he's panicked now..at least he should throw the ball away when he doesn't have a reciever open, he now just shuts down and takes the sack.

I happen to think Wys is okay. Do I agree wholeheartedly with him about Bledsoe? No, but I do see some of the same things he sees, such as his play against the good teams. He does tend to go overboard in the Drew crusade, but he feels strongly that Drew isn't the right fit for this team. Who am I to say he doesen't have that right?
And as for the shots on him, whatever happened to "attack the post, not the poster"?????

Sorry Rich, I have never taken a shot at Wys. I have never charged at him directly or indirectly. We had a long debate today and even then, I was the individual trying to redirect the debate away from any personal attack.
Any specific reason why you want to pick me out and accuse me of this?
I've agreed and disagreed with Wys about several comments in the past. It just so happens that I happen to disagree with his erratic negativity recently. BF1 poses a good question that I'd like to hear answered. What's the harm in that?

If it wasn't you, my apologies. There were numerous posts in this thread that offered nothing toward the discussion, it was just people taking shots at Wys. Does he bring a lot of it on himself with the Drew crusade? Maybe, but this isn't a Drew thread, so it's a bit out of place here. Funny thing is, a lot of those same people will turn around and talk about how HE turns everything into an argument about Drew. Like you, I want to see if he'll answer bf1's question. Let's leave that other stuff for one of the umpteen other Wys/Drew threads on the board today.

Drew's PRO BOWL numbers last year were every bit as good if not better that Kelly's in his 4 super bowl years. Sure I got mad at Kelly when he made stupid plays, and the same goes for Bledsoe.
Drew is a great QB. You can say whatever you want about him but #'s and Prowl Bowls do not lie. Win's lie on the coaches head and the teams preformance as a whole. No one person can take on 11 defenders at once. Did Joe Montana suddenly suck when he went to KC, or did he not have the whole package to win games (OL, Recievers, Defence, Coaching Sceme)?
I mean come on, when the Bills are playing at the top of there game Drew is out there shredding D's more that Kelly ever did, and no one can argue that Kelly was great!

Before I put you on ignore, I need to clear up a few things
1. Why do you keep bring up Drew? This is not about Drew! It’s about you ripping on everybody who still has hope for a good season
2. Who CARES if you’re right! I don’t care! If the Bills finish 6-10 and miss the playoffs, I’m going to be upset for about 10 minutes and then I’ll start looking at the offseason! But you’ll be running around here saying, “I told you so” But I won’t care! The point I always try to drive home is that I always hold out hope, until the last minute! But at the same time, I am a sane person and I do understand when things aren’t looking good! I don’t care if I’m wrong!
3. Another great job of putting words into my mouth! You went from saying, “Say it to my face” to telling me that I’m trying to pick a fight with you! It was clearly implied! You don’t tell someone to “Say it to my face” if you’re not ready to do something about it. The only thing I said is that I’m going to ignore you invitation to fight! Because I’m not interested! OK, just rereading this thread to see where I justified any of the personal attacks in it, alas, can't find much.
Apparently me criticizing the team and coaches is license for others to call me names and hammer on me personally as if vicariously I've said those things about the posters commenting.

Nevertheless, since BF-O is losing sleep over all of this, I'll cut and paste his post in a new thread and answer it.

Wanted to respond to this briefly too:
Rooting is done on Sundays and there's no bigger rooter than me. I don't claim to be any more or less avid than any of you, but to suggest or imply that I somehow don't root for the team is bogus!
What many get berated for, and what I object to about posts such as this one, is that anyone who sees any flaws within the team gets berated when it's not a popular viewpoint. NOT those who root for the team.
These boards are for discussing the team, NOT for "rooting" for it.
If it's for "rooting" for the team and criticisms are not allowed, then let's just call this "HomerZone.com", b/c that's all it would be, by admission that it would only be for rooting.
Many of you need to go grab a reality check as to why you are so bothered when someone criticizes Bledsoe.
