It was a nice tribute. He was emotional. He was especially proud to mention that the team will always be in his heart, and the thanking of Golisano for keeping the team in town (and alive) was a good part of his speech.

I'm proud to say I'm one of the fans he's had a beer with, up in the Harbor Club after games. He was always there for the fans, usually visiting handicapped people he had asked to meet up there. Great all-around guy.
