I've been in a football pool with about 100 others for the last 4 years. I always win a week or two and finish in the top 10 overall for the year - last year I was 5th.

Best advise is no advise. My worst weeks were ones that I did the most analysis.

Ring me up when the season gets closer Duff. I had some good luck last season and would love to take another run this year. My actual betting will be down (I do less ever year) but I's love to help you make some cash.

bduff, You have a much better sports wagering sysatem in Ont then we have in Alberta.

I like the way it is laid out.

My best luck comes when I take 2 games on the point spread and wager $25 and keep rolling the winnings.

pro-line sucks northern. you have to bet a minimum of 3 games., it is hard enough to pick one game correctly nevermind 3. i am on internet gambling. what do you have in alberta?

bduff, how about ernie els winning the british open. i had him and he paid 15 to 1. i think i was sweating out the finish more than he was.

Yeah, we have sports select and a few choice bookies here.

The bookies are okay and you only need one game. Win & they pay lose & you move away.

bduff, how's the action? i'm going with texas and simms. yes, that's right, simms. i have them beating miami, fla. in the fiesta bowl.

Watch out for Florida. The new coach could actually have them playing defense. Still, I wouldn't bet against the Hurricanes winning #2.

Texas, like usual, won't get by Oklahoma. I see it as being Oklahoma v. Miami.

Ack! As a Husker fan, the thought of a Sooners/Hurricanes matchup for the National Championship really makes me feel sick. LOL. Thanks a lot Drewpac. :D

As you well know he really likes trends. You know the " this team is 8-1 ATS on the road on grass after getting beat by 14+Pts or more" Evidentaly, he had a good yr. last season, but I have seen him on a few down trends too.
Anyway, cant wait to start again. I never bet pre-season and often skip opening day too. Just to get a feel for the "new" teams due to players changing so much.
