Lions punter John Jett was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with a right calf injury, ending his season.
Jett, who had missed five games in 10 previous seasons, hasn't played since Sept. 28, when the Lions lost to Denver, 20-16.
The right-footed punter had averaged 39.8 yards on 25 punts
