Like I said last week, if the Bills are supposed to be any kind of contender this year, they had to beat the Bears- none of this "wow, who would have thought they could beat the Bears" stuff!
The Bears have looked only OK this year, and their wins were less than impressive. The Bills took command of the game yesterday, and were able to overcome their self-inflicted errors to win the game.
It should not have been as close as it was considering the Bills' first half domination. However, the Bills showed that they have mental toughness by winning this 1, where last year, they'd have thought "here we go again" and blown it.
The Bills showed potential to be a true contender by winning.
