Possible solution to replay

I was just watching NFL Live and they were reviewing the Todd Heap non-TD (which even a blind man could see was a TD).
Sean Salisbury brought up an interesting format for Instant Replay.
Put 3 officials in separate booths in the stadium, isolated from the crowd and from each other and, in a replay situation, give them the ability to make the call...overrule the ruling on the field if need be. Majority rules. If 2 or 3 of them make the call one way, via a buzzer or something, that's the call that WILL be made.

Here's a better idea:

Make it "bat night" at the stadium and any ref who blunders a call really, really badly must run through the fan gauntlet at the end of the game to get to their car/bus.

That way, if the ruling cost the home team the game, the fans will be good and PO'd, but if not, then they'll likely forget about it altogether. They could call out twenty people at random over the intercom.

"Will the fan sitting in section 127, row 27, seat 12 please bring your bat and come to the police office underneath the esplanade." :D

I think any official with a brain in his head in the answer. The replacement officials were much better than this bunch of grey headed losers stuffing their pocket with whatever it is they stuff their pockets with.

What the NFL needs to do is tell the ******ed refs to quit blowing their god damn wistles. How many times has that cost a team a turnover? Let the freaking play go, and then decide if its a fumble or whatever.

I think they need to get rid of that damn whistle rule anyway. Who cares if it is blown...is that God's whistle? The only time the whistle should matter is with forward progress, cuz if you get 7 people holding the ball carrier up someone will strip that ball.
