Hey JD... I think we gotta re work the rules a bit... We are on different pages here... From the past posts, I was under the impression that you new rule giving points for guessing the stars in the correct position was added on to the points for getting any stars correct.... meaning that these scores would be changed... i.e.:

Dozerdog gets 3 points for getting the 2nd Star correct. (2+1)

Pyrrhonist gets 5 points for getting the 2nd and 3rd Stars correct. (2nd and 3rd in correct position + any 2 stars correct)

Fushetti gets 4 points for getting the 1st Star correct. (3+1)

Fennernen gets 1 point for getting a star correct but it being out of order.

So here's my overall take on the ruling:
1. Participant is awarding 1 point for every star he guesses correctly whether in the correct order or not.
2. Participant is awarded an additional 3 points for guessing the correct 1st star, 2 points for guessing the 2nd star, and 1 point for guessing the 3rd star.

So, using this rule, pyrro gets the gold, and the glimmer. I know that this is how it was used for my 4 point night two games back.

If we restate the new rule, and go back through the posts to figure out how people did, then I think that would work... I'll go through the old threads and apply this rule and figure out the new standings if you want... (I think the current standing are a mixture of rules throughout the games)
