anyone notice that Briere might be lacking?

I haven't been able to watch any of the sabres games this season, so I don't know how Briere is doing with his all-around game, but his stats don't seem so hot. 1 goal though 11 games, while by comparison Pyatt has 6, it seems like he is not performing up to expactations. Any thoughts?

The Sabres are a statistical nightmare. Pyatt, Drury, Kotalik, and Satan have most of the points.

He was playing great prior to the report of the injury. Since then, he did well in the first few games of the road trip, but that is it. He'll come around.

With linemates like that he's bound to come around. Drury is just amazing. I think he handles the puck better than anyone on that team.

It doesn't stop him from lighting the lamp. 2 years ago he had 32 goals and last yera 24 so I;m hoping for at least 23-25 this year.

Briere has actually been playing well. He has a lot of assists, despite the fact that he's not putting it in the net.

Not every guy on the team can be hot at the same exact time.

Briere will start potting some goals sooner rather than later.
