The once-sinking, once-stinking Eagles have risen.
Halfway through the season, they remain uncertain about their final destination, but they at least have a chance to go someplace other than home.
After yesterday's bumpy ride that ended with a 23-16 victory over the Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome, the Eagles are 5-3 overall and 5-1 since those consecutive dreadful home losses to Tampa Bay and New England.
