If Pats win, Broncos lose.
Chiefs 8-0
Colts 7-1
Pats 7-2
Ravens 5-3

Wildcard
Titans 6-2
Fins 5-3

In the hunt
Broncos 5-4
Bills 4-4

If Pats lose
AFC East
Pats 6-3
Miami 5-3
Bills 4-4

If the Broncos lose, we'd be 1 game behind the Fins for the wildcard spot. I would really like to win the division outright but the Pats schedule is just too damn easy the rest of the way. I just hope somehow, the Bills will play some inspired ball the rest of the season so we can at least have some more hope. Go Bills!

I hear you Paul, I'm just going to let the chips fall and see how things look in the morning.

Thats for sure...

@Denver with no QB
Dallas
@Houston
@Indy
Miami
Jacksonville
@ Jets
Bills

The worst I can see out of that is 5-3 more likely 6-2. I'll still be rooting againt them tonight. Denver will lose thier share of games with the scrubs they have to play at QB.

You have to root against the Pats. It is really not even a question. The goal is to win the division, not to just barely get a wild card bid.

AMEN!! It's too early in my opinion to start worrying about wild card. We're only 2 games behind the Pats, definately root for them to lose!!! No question.

They should make a rule where if you sweep a divisional rival, you get the tiebreaker, regardless of division record.

If we are 9-6 and Pats are 10-5, our division record could come back to haunt us. Everyone will be pointing to the Jets loss (worst loss of the season so far in my opinion). This assuming the Dolphins crash and burn in December which I am pretty sure they will.

It is just dumb to give up on winning the division at this point. Look at what the Jets did last year.

That's the way they do it. If we're 9-6 and the Pats are 10-5 and we beat them in week 17, we win the division because we beat them twice. We could be 0-4 against the Jets and Phins and they could be 4-0! It doesn't matter! Now if a third team is tied at 10-6, it goes to division record. But if it's only 2 teams, it goes to head to head!

True, but look how easy their remaining schedule is.

The only easy game I see them having is Jacksonville. Houston is playing well this year, and the Jets haven't been playing bad lately either (Pennington is back now too).

Nothing is for certain anymore. The Jets were supposed to be an easy win for us!

Win our division first and worry about the rest of the league later.

With that, go Denver!!!!!!!!!!!

I gotta root against Denver for 2 reasons:

1) I hate em' and they suck.

2) We need them to lose to put them farther out of contention for the Division title. Them losing and us winning against the Brownies on Sunday would give us a 4 game lead. That is almost insurmountable.

Nice! With this being the case I don't see how any sane Bills fan could root for the Pats.

Screw the Pats...I'll never root for them! :down:

besides, I picked Denver's name out of a hat where I could win a prize if they win the SB. Hey, ya never know! :snicker:
