Over on the bottom right, in the "Heard in the Pressbox" section, it says:

. ... Buffalo will activate (tailback) Willis McGahee from the physically unable to perform list this week and he'll play at Dallas on Sunday. ...

The same column also has some interesting speculation that Ricky Williams may be running out of gas. I know Buffalo has all kinds of problems, but it is nice to think that just as Miami's RB situation may be in decline, Buffalo's is getting better and stronger with TH's resurgence in his last two games, the impending activation of McGahee, and the recovery of Sammy Morris.

Maybe Gilbride is gonna have him line up at TE or WR...

...or heck, since LeBeau is a TD guy too, maybe Willis will take over for Milloy.

Chris Mortenson said last night not to expect McGahee to play more than a few downs near the end of November. He said he highly doubts he'll play at all in the next couple of games.

Actually I think the opposite is true. I think Ricky picked up steam in November and December last year. I think I saw something on ESPN the other day that said that.

Dude, we have a 1400 yd back from last year. Wouldn't it make sense to have been running the ball all along? Willis, i hope he contributes, but people have their hopes wayyyy to high for this guy..

But i'll eat crow gladly.

From an interview posted today on BB.com.

Do you think you can play this Sunday against the Cowboys?

"I can play but I won't be really effective. I want to be effective when I play."

Don't get your hopes up yet.
