All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

I posted this message on the Stadium Wall earlier today, because I'm getting so sick of the crap refs are able to get away with nowadays. Let me know what you think.
You should be able to comment on an officials' performance and not get fined!
I couldn't agree more...but I think the league has it in their minds that everyone should provide a united front...teams, league office, officials. I can understand that but when the officiating is as shoddy as it is, and the poor officiating is noticed by the public, it gets to be a little much. They aren't doing enough to rectify situations ("we're sorry but the officials missed some calls" is all anyone gets). No one holds these officials accountable and for the money they get paid for a part-time gig, that's inexcusable.

The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.
For news, articles and other "stuff"... BillsZone.com
"Where is this same 'cenorshop' when the officials are at fault? What about Orlando Brown? What about the NBA refs who antagonize players (ever listen to a ref during a game call some player a 'big baby' and other crap?) then get to call technical fouls when the player protests, like Kevin Garnett did last night? Heck, you can't even LOOK at the refs in the NBA; that's a foul too!"
I can relate to that...
GREAT post R!!
Absolutely. What's worse is that they return for following seasons b/c their in a union even tho many of them suck!
Where's the free market principle here. The NFL is in so many ways just like communism/socialism. It'd probably be a great comparative analysis.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

Not to defend'em or bash'em, but I recall that after the NYG-SF playoff snafu last year, the NFL said they were gonna "break up" the officiating crews.
I think the ref's are a bit tenative and unsure this year.

Actually, I heard that the big thing they are doing is actually keeping the actual crews together. In the playoffs, it's been customary to take the individual officials with the highest grades. Now they plan to take the highest graded crews...so that the officials are used to working with one another.
