...I think I'd better answer his question!

Be forewarned however, this information will be nothing new to any of you. So if you're not happy with this thread/post, go blame the people calling me out for the info in it. B/c it's all within this message board somewhere.

Wys. One simple question. Do you like anyone on the team or in the FO? Anyone at all?

In the FO, I only have issue with Donahoe. But that's a growing movement.

On the team:

I like Mike Williams, Jonas Jennings and believe we have the Ts to do the job easily.

I like Price as a backup too.

I like Moulds, Reed, Coleman, and am content w/ Shaw.

I like Henry and can't figure out why we wasted a first rounder for a RB when we were nuts deep in them w/ Gary here and given all of our other needs on the team.

I don't like Drew. But I'm not gonna bother explaining why other than to say everything that I've posted in the past is coming true. I will post some articles supporting my points as well, but not tonight, they're on another PC of mine. Suffice it to say now that he's one of the most overrated QBs in the league. His way overrated three trips to the Pro Bowl were twice for an injured player and not by pure voting, and once only as a backup. Seems like there's a tad bit too much emphasis on that, especially since the last time he made it was when, 6 years ago. Can it possibly be, since he hasn't had a great season in years, that perhaps he's washed up? Just a question...

I think Denney is not good and certainly not worth a trade up 2nd round pick.

I'm content w/ Schobel and have posted on numerous occasions that I think he'd be fine with 3 other decent linemen.

Williams is a beast, but there are signs that he's slowing down some due to age.

Adams was crappy last year, but no one will believe that since presumably no one watched him play in Oakland like I did for 4 games last year. He's no better than he was then and even worse now IMO. He doesn't do the things that the FO said he'd do and fans were expecting. He plays like a very average DT and simply isn't worth the $1.75M he's getting this year.

Spikes I expected to be much more dominant, but hasn't been. Don't know what to think there.

Posey is what I stated he'd be here, average and a good pass rusher only and isn't playing as well in a 4-3 as he did in a 3-4 and a totally different scheme. No reflection on me, anyone who had taken the time to do some basic research on his past seasons would have come to the same conclusions.

Fletcher, cannot cover, and therefore I have issues with him as a MLB. He's too short to cover the larger WRs OTM and most TEs. He's not nearly as fast as many like to believe and makes many of his tackles from behind. He gets lauded for his #s of tackles yet behind the same DL that everyone stating that Fletcher is great say that that DL sucks. So to me, it stands to reason that w/ no DL, of course you're gonna have more opps for tackles.

Winfield is a great run cover CB but only has average cover skills. He gets burned often and loses his man easily at times. IMO he's not worth more than $3M/yr. due to his inability to cover well or much better than average.

Clements, I like hiim a lot.

Wire, I like him, and I wouldn't have spent $4M/yr. to override his development by signing Milloy.

Reese, I said at the time we acquired him that he was a marginal starter and a more likely backup. That seems consistent w/ the truth here.

Milloy, IMO he's overpaid and since he's on the downside of his career, I'd say that the money we're paying now is fine, but as the seasons go on and his contract gets fatter, IMO he won't be worth what we're paying him. I wouldn't have signed him. But the fact that TD did, makes me wonder if he's following any plan here since he's essentially admitting that he doesn't think that Wire is very good if he's happy to let Wire play STs until his contract comes due where Wire would have to be nuts to resign if he wants to play S somewhere.

Prioleau, I like him. He along with many other players get yanked after only one season that I don't understand that philosophy.

So there BF, there it is. If you ask me again, you'll need an eyeball colonic! ;) Now hopefully you can get some rest and all the taunts and insults will cease......LOL

Oh yeah, don't like LeBeau. He didn't do anything for Cincy he's not gonna do anything for us. But I said the same thing about Gilbride when he got hired too. Since none of TD's coaches seem to be panning out, I'd certainly say I've earned some patience on my thoughts on LeBeau since I've been accurate so far.

BTW, this is nothing special. I really didn't know Gilbride all that well when we hired him. But I went and spent some time doing some basic research about him while he was a coach and just pieced it all together. I think sometimes many of you give me too much credit or come down on me to hard in assuming that I'm some sort of football genius or something, but the facts of each coaches performance are readily available, especially today on the internet. So it's all out there just like it is w/ LeBeau. He's a losing coach, has always been a losing coach, and will continue to be a losing coach unless for some strange reason something changes. I don't see what that would be however. In fact, he's had some of his defenses finish dead last in the league inseveral years and usually amongst the bottom 25% of teams easily.

What we need, the same things we needed at the beginning of this season but didn't address:

Interior OL help
A starting DT and DE and a player or two at each for depth.
A QB

We don't need more RBs, more WRs, more TEs, CBs, Ss.

We could also use a couple of LBs, MLB and another OLB other than Posey.

LMAO...

Too funny!!

No, I've said it before and will say it again, this information is out there, many simply don't want to see it, and when they do, they simply don't like to acknowledge it.

BTW, this from the person who gave me the "genious" avatar. ;)

Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not claiming to be a buffoon either...

:D

I leave that title to Gilbride; Offensive Coordinator, QB Coach, and Chief Buffoon.

Look, I didn't want to post this, and I for sure don't want to do it again. So first understand where it came from.

But this is what was in the other thread, now in the Smack Forum.

Thanks.

I swear that I didn't intend this thread to become a pissing match.

I'm just curious to see if wys is happy about anything or anyone.

Your intentions aren't misunderstood. It's a perfectly logical question that deserves an answer.

Since BFO is apparently blind since I've posted this numerous times prior, I posted it again at his request to a thread that I didn't start. And in fact, I got all those quotes about a third way through the thread, there's more.

So I guess I'm damned if I do, damned if I don't, eh!

;)

There's just no winning in here....

Except for those who can read. They don't have to ask stupid and repetitive questions on things that I've posted at least scores of times prior on some topics.

And yes, this was meant to be somewhat provocative to challenge BFO's inherent laziness (or illiteracy) to go read for himself instead of crying out like a suckling looking for a teet and expecting me to "hand feed" him the same info that is readily available and even understood by many others on these boards.

I guess someone's always gonna have to be unhappy!

Hey, I tried....

There were no parameters specified in the original request. And believe me when I say I certainly didn't do this for the posters who know exactly where I stand. I did it for the "squeaky wheel."

Wys- this will be shuffled off to the smack forum with the others if you are going to egg on BF1 and/ or others. You can debate him on football- but the drug shots are pushing it.

(From the University of Louisville Supercomputer Lab)

In our friendly confines you'll find Velocity, an IBM RS/6000 SP2 supercomputer, 20 Hewlett Packard X terminals, and 25 Dell workstations. Velocity is a RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) scalable parallel system based on the IBM PowerPC chip. The system currenly consists of 28 nodes with a total of 112 processors, each at 332 MHz, 28 GB of memory, and 543 GB of disk storage. Velocity's 35.7 Gigaflops of aggregate processor speed is used for a wide range of research in addition to the support it provides for academic studies, but we draw the line at crunching Wys's posts on BFZ. That's crazy talk!

It's very insensitive to joke about heart problems, Wys. BFZ is EXTREMELY PC, so I think you should apologize to everyone you offended.

Let's cut the BS Dozer. This post was obviously, seeing that you missed it, prompted by another thread "egging me on" that was up for over a week prior to getting moved.

So since you're so altruistic in executing rule around here, perhaps you can apply the same standards to others as you hold me to.

Nah, silly me, what am I thinking....

You and him can debate football all you want-

His asking "who do you like" is not personal. You're response was not either- until you start in with the drinking/drug nonsense.

It's simple. Stick to football or off it goes. Same for your detractors.

Am I supposed to keep track of all 2,500 members favorite players. Lazy? Illiterate?

You have been the most critical. So I wanted you to answer the question, that's all.

And what's with the drug reference? I've never done drugs. What gives? Isn't that slander? That's not very Christian of you!
