Stewart Says He Should Be Steelers QB Starter

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kordell Stewart wasn't told Monday by coach Bill Cowher whether he will start Sunday in New Orleans.

In Stewart's mind, he didn't need to be told.

"Do I expect to start? Of course I do," Stewart said. "Why? because I'm the starter on this football team. Otherwise it would be a situation where coach Cowher would tell us we're going in another direction. As far as I know, I'm the starter."

Kordell should be the starting Kick Returner/ Punt Returner.....thats the only slash I see in him. .....oh and maybe 4th WR on the roster.

This is ridiculous. Either you have confidence in your quarterback or you don't. The Coach should handle this better or this is going to be Johnson/Flutie thing all over again. These situations never seem to work out well for either of the players or the team.
