Bucs defensive end Simeon Rice issued a verbal sack Wednesday, guaranteeing a victory against Carolina with a vow to ``take over the game'' if Tampa Bay shuts down running back Stephen Davis.
The Bucs trail the first- place Panthers by two games in the NFC South heading into Sunday's matchup at Charlotte.
Davis leads the NFC with 992 rushing yards and he burned Tampa Bay for 142 yards in Carolina's 12-9 overtime triumph Sept. 14.
