We'll see the Williams we should have drafted, today

We drafted the wrong Williams two years ago. ROY WILLIAMS was the Williams we should have drafted. I was hoping that TD would pass on Big Mike and grab Roy, but that didn't happen

He was being compared to Ronnie Lott while in college and he is proving that specualtion was right on the money!!! He is an animal!!!

I would rather have a franchise tackle than a safty.

Then you are happy with Trey Teague as our tackle? We signed him in case Harrington was available, or M Williams/McKinney were not

We had Marcus Price who was already signed and would be a STARTER on any other team. He is 1/4 the price of Mike Williams and has played as well if not better than Big Mike.

I'll take an All-Pro saftey any day over an all pro OT. Besides, Roy Williams is playing like an All-Pro, Mike Williams isn't.

I like the move IF we used the pick for Coy Wire for Seth McKinney, the Center the Dolphins selected in Rd 3

              Yep.

I know it's all hindsight, but I was hoping all along we would trade down 1-2 spots and grab Roy Williams. Safeties like him only come around every 10-15 years.

I'll give you credit, AWM- it's not like you came up with this yesterday- you have been blowing Roy Williams' horn for quite some time

This topic hasn't been discussed much if at all. There were only a few folks who wanted to draft Roy Williams back then.

But I'll stick by the Mike Williams choice though- that's who I wanted and that's who we got. The only guy I coveted more in the top 5 was Julius Peppers

Oh man, Julius Peppers would have been sweet!!

I think TD wanted Harrington all along and when Detroit surprised him with that pick, it threw him for a loop.

He is double teamed each play. That frees up somebody else to rush the QB. When was the last time one of our DE's was double teamed??????

Considering they have one of the best D's in the league, he must be helping out somehow

He had what, 10 or 11 in 11 games last season? Won Defensive Rookie of the year too I think

Bruce Smith was held to 6 .5 sacks in his rookie year
