I was waiting for the defense to get pissed at the offense

It's tough. I feel empty inside," cornerback Antoine Winfield added. "You go out there and give the effort and everything that we had. We just didn't have any help."

Was Winfield referring to the offense?

"I can't comment on that," he said. "I'm not going to get anything started. But it was tough. Especially the second half when we went out there and get those three-and-outs. We need to take advantage of those opportunities."

Winfield won't come out and say it, but the Bills' defense could sue the offense for nonsupport. The Bills have scored only 21 points in four road losses, and seven were by the defense.

The Bills managed only two field goals and a turnover in three trips inside the Cowboys' 25-yard line.

One more outing like last night's and you might see open warfare between the units. "Bickering Bills-Revisited."
Someone said "What's he gonna turn out like?" Ha!
And someone else said "Never mind!"

The defense has been carrying this team since midway through last year. It was only a matter of time before it erupted.
