In the week they are playing the Chargers, the Broncos will sign San Diego's former Pro Bowl cornerback Ryan McNeil to a one-year contract today.
McNeil will take John Mobley's roster spot, but he might wind up taking Deltha O'Neal's playing time.
O'Neal has been beaten for five touchdown passes this season, most notably a game-winner Nov. 3 in a 30-26 loss to New England.
"If I'm in good shape, and feel good throughout the week, then I'll probably get a chance to play (Sunday)," McNeil told The San Diego Union-Tribune on Monday. "That's my goal, but I'm not going to jeopardize anything."
